Stallion Saves Filly …
The yearlings were playing on the opposite shore…as a small group from the Stallions band began to cross the river on the upstream side…a young filly following the group entered the water…attempting to join the yearlings at play…as she reached the middle of the stream she began to panic…and was quickly swept downstream…the Stallion broke from the group crossing the water to save her as she was being swept away…
First he tried to grab her by the side of her neck on the upstream side…but he couldn’t get a good hold as she moved downstream…so he grabbed hold of her neck on the downstream side… held her firmly and didn’t let go until she was safely on the opposite shore beside her mother.
